Suntara is a unique experience of the healing power of sound and uplifting music. The experience starts with 'dreamsounding', a musical trip around the cosmos. Suntara (daniel Coates & Luke Brooks) have a deep, often psychic musical connection that allows them to become musically one with each other and the sound. Daniel Coates uses his powerful and unique voice to bring through chants that connect us with our ancient roots and reminds us of how important sound and expression is as a part of daily life. The chants that come through can be Tibetan, Mongolian, Australian aboriginal, Celtic, European, African and sometimes sound like they come from a place beyond Earth. Luke Brooks is an inspired, master percussionist who loses himself to the musical thread of the moment. Daniel and Luke feed off each other creating soundscapes that are sacred, cosmic and from far beyond their own physical doing. Other instruments such as Crystal Bowls, Andean Flutes, Gasong Drums, Didgeridoo and many more are also an integral part of the experience.
with optional group participation you can choose to either be carried away by the sound or become part of it. The sacred space provides a safe environment for you to connect more deeply with your own voice. As a result of deepening this connection you can deepen the connection with your inner voice as well and a more authentic and joyful life is the result.
